I bought one just like it brand new in 2001 - mine was in a silversih/bluish color. My dad still drives it - 110k miles or so. No way he is ever getting rid of it - when he is ready for a new car, I am taking it and doing something along these lines. Modest lift kit, better wheels and tires, replacement front bumper, and probably a shell so I can take my dogs with me too.

He’s got a huge build thread on Expo, I’m sure he was on mud as well.. Rickashay is meticulous on his rigs.

My main concern these days is cargo management, and I am trying to think about ways to add tie down points back there.
This picture piqued my interest.

I don’t even like trucks, but that one is awesome and very well done. Good luck to your friend, he’s asking a very fair price!

315/75-R16. Big tires, little lift, lots of flex..

Ahhh, P-Metric. Giving it in inches I was surprised it wasn’t a 33" since there are more choices and more popular than a 34".
